Made for the ones who run the household

We're a New Zealand–owned pet shop, run by a Kiwi who's completely soft for animals. And we start from a simple truth: your pets aren't really pets. They're the ones who claim the warm spot on the couch, supervise every meal, and somehow end up running the whole house. They deserve gear as good as they think they are.

Why we started

Here's the honest reason FurPicks exists. We're pet lovers, plain and simple — and if you love an animal, you know the hardest part: their lives are so much shorter than ours. They give us their whole lifetime, and we only ever get a piece of theirs.

We can't make their years longer. But we can make every one of them warmer, comfier and happier. That's the whole point of this little Kiwi shop — to help pet families make the most of the time we've got: to spoil them a little, care for them a lot, and fill their days with the comfort and fun they deserve. Because they're only with us for a while, and while they are, they should have the best.

How we pick

We choose every product the way we'd choose for our own cat and dog — would we actually put this in front of them? If it's not a clear yes, it doesn't make the cut. No filler, no tat. Just the good stuff, curated so you don't have to wade through a thousand listings to find the one that's worth it.
